Abstract

This study examined the effects of Artificial Intelligence on digital literacy and pedagogical readiness, as well as the effect of digital literacy on pedagogical readiness and its mediating role in the relationship between Artificial Intelligence and pedagogical readiness among Primary Teacher Education students at IAIN Curup. A quantitative explanatory design was employed. The population comprised 240 second-semester students, with 136 respondents selected through random sampling. Data were collected using a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire based on indicators of the study variables. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS, involving outer and inner model assessments. The results showed that Artificial Intelligence positively and significantly influenced digital literacy and pedagogical readiness. Digital literacy also significantly predicted pedagogical readiness and mediated the relationship between Artificial Intelligence and pedagogical readiness
