Human Centered Technology Management for Innovation and Sustainable Competitive Advantage

The accelerating technological transformation requires organizations to manage technology not only from the technical aspect, but also by considering the human needs, participation, and adaptability of the organization. This research aims to explore how human-centered technology management supports organizational innovation and contributes to sustainable competitive advantage. The research used a qualitative approach with an exploratory design on 20 informants consisting of technology managers, innovation managers, and organizational leaders in technology-based companies. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews and analyzed using thematic analysis. The results show that employee participation, human-oriented technology design, digital capability development, and adaptive leadership strengthen the innovation process as well as organizational responsiveness. The findings affirm the importance of integrating the human aspect in technology management to build innovation and sustainable competitive advantage
